“After reading once more Guen’s offer to discuss, and perhaps transform, a seldom worn piece of jewellery, I took her up in it. I am so glad I did. For decades I had a pretty but broken ring of my great-grandmother. It just sat, year after year, in a jewellery box. So I arranged a consultation, and explained that I don’t wear rings very much. Guen suggested it might make a pretty pendant. I had a spare gold chain I could use, to keep the cost down. She recommended leaving it in its inherited state, apart from lovely clean, so it has a few missing stones. Now I am pleased to remember great-grandmama by wearing this delicate pendant.”
